Khokhlov Aleksey Leonidovich

doctor of technical sciences, professor, head of the department of operation of mobile machines and technological equipment of FSBEI HE Ulyanovsk SAU

He was born on January 22, 1965 in Karpinsk, Sverdlovsk Region.

In 1989, he graduated from Ulyanovsk Agricultural Institute with a degree in agricultural mechanization.

He worked as an assistant of the Department of Technical Mechanics of UlSAI from 1989 to 1993.

From 1994 to 2004 he worked as the chief engineer of "Simbirskfermer" in Ulyanovsk.

Since 2004, he worked as an assistant at department of Operation of Machinery and Technological Equipment of Ulyanovsk State Agricultural Academy. In 2007 he was promoted to the post of associate professor of the same department. In 2009, he was given the post of associate professor of the Department of Operation of Mobile Machines and Technological Equipment. He has been head of the department of Operation of Mobile Machines and Technological Equipment of FSBEI HE Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University since 2015.

In 2004 he completed his dissertation for the degree of a Candidate on the topic  “Improvement of the quality of running-in of engine parts after repair with application of additives”, in 2017 he completed his doctoral dissertation  on “Improvement of vehicle performance parametres by coating parts of cylinder-piston group of gasoline engines”, in 2018 he was awarded the academic title of professor in the specialty 05.20 .03 - technologies and means of maintenance in agriculture.

He has been teaching since 1989. He gives lectures, conducts laboratory and practical classes in the disciplines: “Design of road transport enterprises”, “Design and operational properties of transport and transport-technological machines and complexes”, “Perspective technologies for maintenance of cars and tractors” , "Technologies and means of maintenance in agriculture" and others.

He is Head of the scientific topic: “Improvement of the efficiency of using energy resources by developing and improving energy-saving, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly means, technologies and usage of alternative fuels” - under the state registration number No. 121040100045-6.

He is Member of the dissertation council D 220.053.02 on the basis of Penza State Agrarian University, of dissertation council D 999.177.03 at Bashkir State Agrarian University, at Kazan State Agrarian University, at Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin.

He is member of the editorial board of the journal "Science in Central Russia", which is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission.

Khokhlov Aleksey is Honored Worker of Science and Education of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

According to the results of the research, he has 222 scientific and methodological works, including 32 works in publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission, 8 - in international citation databases, he has 20 study guides, 3 of which have the stamp of the Ministry of Agriculture, 1 with the stamp of Academic Methodological Association according to Enlarged groups of specialties and directions 23.00. 00 Machinery and technology of land transport, as well as 4 monographs. He is one of the authors of 37 invention patents.
