Born on October 17, 1970 in the village of Beklemishevo, Veshkaymsky district, Ulyanovsk region. In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Ulyanovsk Agricultural Institute with a degree in Agronomy. In 1993, he entered full-time postgraduate studies in specialty 03.00.12 "Plant Physiology and Biochemistry", in 1997 he successfully defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the dissertation Council of the Kazan Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since 1996, he started teaching at the Department of Botany, Plant Physiology and Ecology, and was the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy for Academic Affairs. From 2000 to 2004 he worked as Vice–rector for Educational Work, from 2004 to 2009 - Vice-rector for Distance Education. From 2009 to 2019 gg – first Vice-rector – Vice-rector for scientific work, from 2019 to 2025 –the rector of FGBOU VO Ulyanovsk state agricultural university. Currently, he is an advisor to the Rector's Office. In 2005, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the specialties 06.01.04 - agrochemistry, 03.01.05 – physiology and biochemistry of plants, in 2006 he was awarded the academic title of professor in the Department of Biology and Chemical Chemistry. He is the author of more than 500 publications, including 4 monographs, 17 teaching materials and manuals, 4 textbooks with the stamp of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the field of higher Education on UGSN 35.00.00 Agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 4 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, 320 patents. Publication indicators: Hirsch index – 34, number of articles in the international Scopus database – 7, in the Web of Science – 14, number of articles in peer–reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences - 84, publications included in the core of the RSCI – 87. Research interests: application of growth regulators, trace elements, mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of agricultural crops. Under his leadership, five dissertations were defended for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences. |
