Pavlushin Andrey Aleksandrovich,

doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Acting Rector of the FSBEI HE Ulyanovsk SAU

In 2005, he graduated from the Ulyanovsk State Agricultural Academy, qualifying as an engineer with a degree in Machine Maintenance and Repair Technology in the Agro-industrial Complex;

In 2008, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, and in 2015 – his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, the topic of his doctoral dissertation: "Mechanical and technological justification and development of energy-saving means of mechanization of heat treatment of grain."

Research interests:

05.20.01 – Technologies and means of agricultural mechanization.

Pavlushin A. A. highly effective means of mechanization of grain heat treatment processes have been developed, which have been successfully implemented and are used in farms of a number of subjects of the Russian Federation specializing in grain production and processing (Ulyanovsk, Samara regions, the Republic of Chuvashia, Krasnoyarsk Territory). The research results conducted by Pavlushin A.A. were approved by the Scientific and Technical Policy section of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the NTS of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Ulyanovsk, Samara, and Penza regions and recommended for introduction into production and use in the educational process. As a result of Pavlushin's research, new scientifically based technical and technological solutions are outlined, the implementation of which makes a significant contribution to the development of the country. The total economic effect of using the developed means of mechanization in such technologies of heat treatment of grain as drying, thermal disinfection and roasting exceeds 75 million rubles.

More than 400 scientific papers and educational publications have been published, including more than 200 patents of the Russian Federation for inventions and utility models, 58 articles have been published in the list of publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, and a monograph has been published. Pavlushin has published more than 30 articles in publications included in the international citation databases Scopus and Web of Science. The textbooks published by Pavlushin A.A. are approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation as textbooks for students of higher agricultural educational institutions.

He is the head of the scientific grants: "Scientific substantiation of the theoretical foundations of modeling heat and mass transfer processes in the creation of energy-saving, environmentally friendly technical systems" and "Improving the efficiency of heat and mass transfer processes in complex technical systems with contact heat supply", implemented with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research in the period from 2017 to 2022.

Under his leadership, 2 dissertations were defended for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
